A Checklist of Art Galleries in Boothbay Harbor

Our coastal retreat is only 10 minutes away from Boothbay Harbor, a waterfront town home to art galleries of every medium. See how many of the galleries on our scavenger hunt you can find as you wander around. 

  • Located on Townsend Avenue, Studio 53 Fine Art Gallery showcases the work of nine artists from the region along with guests artists. Be sure to take a look at the gallery events for upcoming exhibits
  • Gleason Fine Art has been presenting fine art of the Maine coast since 1985. In addition to contemporary art, the gallery features works from the 19th through 20th centuries
  • Experience the work of John and Lynne Seitzer at Joy to the Wind Gallery. The Seitzers are known for their landscapes, still life, abstracts, and seascapes. Their work is inspired by Maine and their travels across the country and Europe. 
  • The Boothbay Region Art Foundation has served artists and communities of this region since 1964. The foundation represents over 150 artists/members and awards scholarships to seniors. Visit the gallery on Townsend Avenue to see stunning pieces of work from talented artists.
  • Black River Gallery brings together the work of Sue Kenney and Catherine Day. In addition to displaying their breathtaking photography, this gallery features other products like jewelry, candles, and other artwork.
