Midcoast Maine is a hotspot for birdwatching, especially along rocky shores and islands. Visit at dawn or dusk, and you might come upon white-tailed deer. Red foxes can sometimes be spotted in quieter areas, while wild turkeys are sometimes seen in residential and wooded areas.
