The Smuggler's Cove Inn gets 5 Stars for the room, the service, and the location from me and my wife. The location is an easy top score as the property is located in a prime spot right on Linekin Bay. The location is both quiet and beautiful. Our room was recently renovated, very comfortable, clean, and couldn't have had a better view!! Finally the service at Smuggler's Cove Inn was second to none. The owners, Kash and Jayshree treat every guest like family and genuinely try to connect with every guest. During your stay you can see how hard they work to try and make every guest have the most enjoyable stay possible. I highly recommend!

Rarely do I write reviews for places. I stayed at this inn while attending a wedding in October. I was SO impressed with the breakfast (included with your stay, btw!) the restaurant offered... all of it was delicious, and there were so many options. I'm gluten free and there was plenty for me to eat. I ran into the chef on our way out who was extremely friendly and chatted with me for a bit--you can really tell how much he cares about the quality of the food they all serve. A huge plus is that I was able to bring my pup with me, and he loved being able to play on the beach. I read some other reviews and understand folks' concerns with the bathroom, but I will just say that it can be pretty inevitable there will be sand everywhere when you're RIGHT on the beach. That's one of the beauties of this place. Just ask for extra towels and its manageable. Perhaps adding a full-length mirror to all rooms would be a great addition.

Just stayed one night but the room was very clean. King size bed was comfortable. I had an issue but the hotel staff worked with us and they were wonderful. The view is very pretty and we enjoyed the included breakfast. We hope to return in the future.

The beds were very comfortable and the rooms clean. No charging areas next to the bed and few outlets so we had to charge phones in the bathroom, which was annoying. Restaurant closed for the season already which was a bummer. But the carriage house up the street was great. Otherwise great stay! The breakfast was amazing! The granola was so good and homemade.

What a prefect stay in the Boothbay area! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and homey. We stayed in the Pier building that overlooks the harbor. Nice balcony. Breakfast is included in the stay, which had good variety! We also went to their restaurant for dinner, which was tasty as well. Unfortunately, we came on a rainy day so we did not get to try our their lounge chairs that also overlooks the harbor. However, the next day before we left we did get to see the views from the restaurant and it's stunning! I'll definitely be back and will recommend Smuggler to any friends traveling through.

A family member had stayed at Smuggler's Cove during the summer and they were happy with hotel. We found the room was clean and the view was pretty good. The staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel is a short drive from Boothbay. Breakfast was good too. And it was to sit around fire pit at the end of the day.

I. Highly recommend this place! The rooms were quiet and comfortable and clean, the location was perfect and we enjoyed a sunset and a campfire each night. Oh, and the hot breakfasts were good too! I especially enjoyed being able to sit on the restaurant deck overlooking the waterfront. Every room faces the ocean.

The room was lovely with a wonderful view which my husband & I enjoyed from our deck. The included breakfast was very good and their restaurant food was excellent.||The free kayak was a real plus & the water was calm. We could watch a small lobster boat in the morning getting their lobsters.

An intimate, peaceful location on a beautiful cove. Heated pool, well- appointed breakfast overlooking the waterfront 5 miles away from the busy village. Paddle-boards and hobby kayaks, make this is a charming oasis and perfect launch to the beauty of the bay. We were impressed with the staff's efforts to offer service, especially loved the high quality of the breakfast bacon!

My Wife and I came for a long weekend towards the end of August. Rooms, although recently updated were standard. 2 queen beds in our case. Not overly comfortable, but adequate. A/C worked well. Every employee we encountered was very nice and personable. Several were summer help.
Very happy with the included breakfast. The restaurant was very good, the selection and quality of dishes were above expectation.
The location was beautiful! The view from the room over the water was incredible. Sitting on Adirondack chairs having a drink by the water at sunset was the pinnacle of the trip.
